Super Bowl 2014: Super Bowl Planner Wants Fans to Embrace the Cold Weather

“Listen, we’re putting our arms around the winter; we’re embracing the cold,” Supovitz said. “The notion of doing Super Bowl Boulevard out of doors in February is demonstrative of that.

“The message is very clear: It’s going to be cold, and we’re going to have a ball doing it.”‘

Baltimore Ravens: Ed Dickson Wants a Bigger Role in the Ravens Offense

“I always feel like I can have a bigger role in the passing game,” Dickson said with a grin after Friday’s practice.

“My injury kind of threw me off, and that trickled through the whole season,” Dickson said. “It’s definitely a confidence thing. When you get hurt and haven’t been out there for a little while, Joe loses a little confidence because you haven’t been out there.”

Atlanta Falcons: Could We See Kroy Biermann at Linebacker This Season?

“Multiplicty on the defensive side of the ball is what we’re looking for,” head coach Mike Smith said. “We want to be as multiple as we possibly can. New York Jets: Antonio Cromartie Serving as Financial Mentor to Younger Players

By his own count — and he admits he might be underestimating just how bad it really was — Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie went through $5 million in his first two seasons in the NFL.

I like seeing the fact that Cromartie is getting in these young guys heads about how to save their money and do the right thing financially. You can send these rookies to all the symposiums you want, but when they hear it from one of the better players on their team the message means more.  Especially from a guy that went down that road and can warn them exactly what to look out for.

Tim Tebow’s Dad: “Tim Isn’t Done”

Tim Tebow hasn’t been quiet about his NFL future, but his dad wants to make one thing clear: Tim isn’t done.

The bottom line is Tim and his dad can think what we want and we can all speculate as to what his NFL future if any will be, but do you know what matters most?  What the 32 NFL teams think. My thoughts are if Tim is not open to a position change he will not be on a NFL roster anytime soon.
